• Character and Moral Transformation as the Core of Education. We believe the primary purpose of education is to bring about a transformation in character and morals.  

• Shared Responsibility in a Healthy Family Environment. We believe parents, students, and teachers must understand their respective roles to create a healthy family environment that fosters growth.

Core Values: The Five Foundational Characters​

Our core values shape the heart of Sekolah Indonesia Cerdas, guiding our students to live with integrity and godliness. These five foundational characters are instilled in every aspect of learning and interaction:

1.  Attentiveness

   • Showing respect by giving full attention to what is being said.

   • Looking at the person speaking.

   • Sitting or standing upright.

   • Not seeking attention for oneself.

   • Keeping body movements respectful while listening.

2. Obedience

   • Promptly and cheerfully carrying out instructions from those in authority.

   • Following directions immediately.

   • Doing so with a joyful heart.

   • Completing all entrusted tasks.

   • Avoiding complaints.

   • Willing to go beyond what is expected.  

3. Responsibility

   • Knowing and doing what is expected of me.

   • Keeping promises.

   • Doing every task to the best of my ability.

   • Correcting mistakes.

   • Understanding and completing all assigned duties.  

4. Truthfulness

   • Earning trust by reporting facts accurately.

   • Speaking the truth.

   • Encouraging others to be honest.

   • Avoiding cheating or stealing.

   • Admitting mistakes.

   • Not exaggerating to distort the truth.  

5. Gratefulness

   • Expressing through words and actions that others have blessed my life.

   • Showing appreciation to those in authority.

   • Writing thank-you notes.

   • Taking care of personal belongings.

   • Being content with what I have.

   • Focusing on blessings rather than burdens.

The Ten Pillars of Etiquette

We instill proper manners in our students, equipping them to interact with others respectfully and gracefully. These ten pillars of etiquette form the foundation of our community:  

1. Waiting patiently for one’s turn.  

2. Refraining from laughing at others.  

3. Always greeting others warmly.  

4. Using polite words like “please,” “excuse me,” “thank you,” and “you’re welcome.”  

5. Cleaning up and tidying without being told.  

6. Showing sportsmanship toward those who excel.  

7. Accepting compliments graciously.  

8. Opening doors and offering help to elders.  

9. Observing proper etiquette when entering and exiting.  

10. Respecting differences with humility.
