Passover 2025: Arise! — A Resurrection Message from Pastor Wiryohadi

In this year’s Passover Sunday Service, Pastor Yonathan Wiryohadi shared a deeply personal and prophetic message he received while standing at The Garden Tomb in Israel. The word was simple, yet powerful: “Arise!”

On this service, we are reminded that just as Christ rose from the dead, we too are called to rise together with Him — leaving behind fear, sin, and worldly ties, and stepping boldly into the future God has prepared.

The Secret Behind Jesus’ Resurrection

Pastor Wiryohadi revealed three powerful truths behind Jesus’ resurrection:

1️⃣ Jesus Carried a Clear Vision from the Father

From the beginning, Jesus came to fulfill a divine mission — to redeem humanity from sin (Genesis 3:14-15). Without vision, there’s no resurrection power.

2️⃣ He Willingly Carried the Cross

Jesus persevered through suffering, willing to be burdened for a higher purpose (Luke 9:23, Matthew 11:30). Pastor Wiryohadi reminded us to be like the donkey in Matthew 21:2:

• Set free from worthless worldly bonds and available for the King’s purpose.

• Realize the crowd’s praise is for the King, not for us.

• Enjoy heaven’s atmosphere not for personal gain, but for His glory.

• Understand that what starts as a burden can become a powerful movement impacting cities (Matthew 21:10).

3️⃣ Die to Self, Rise for God’s Plan

We are called to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Christ (Luke 9:23). It’s in this surrender that resurrection power flows through our lives.

The Impact of Jesus’ Resurrection

Because Jesus rose from the dead, we can confidently arise with Him. Pastor Wiryohadi shared three immediate results of the resurrection:

1️⃣ A Great Breakthrough Will Happen

Just like the earth shook and the stone was rolled away (Matthew 28:2), our limitations will be shattered when we rise with Christ.

2️⃣ The Supernatural Will Move Among Us

Angels appeared at the tomb (Matthew 28:2,5) — a sign that God’s miraculous and supernatural power accompanies resurrection moments.

3️⃣ Fear Must Fall, and Hope Will Rise

The angel’s message was clear: “Do not be afraid, for He has risen.” This resurrection secures our future and our calling (Matthew 28:5,10).
